About Sandra

Nomoto’s communications career began in the public relations industry in 2005, before the age of digital marketing.
She was awarded the 2009 Volunteer of the Year by Women In Film & Television Vancouver for her work on the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival and Spotlight Awards. She was also featured in the 2010 CRAVE Guide alongside VITA Daily and Danielle LaPorte. In 2016, she was part of the Marketing team that won the eWomenNetwork Best Social Media and Community Engagement Award.

Her upbringing as a middle child and Asian Canadian has benefited her with the experience of collaborating with a wide variety of groups, from seniors to successful business owners, non-profits, environmental activists, and TV/industry personalities.

Nomoto authored The Only Public Relations Guide You’ll Ever Need in 2019, and aspires to be a nonfiction editor for vegan and spiritual authors who write memoirs. She previously served as Secretary on the Board of Directors of Create Vancouver Society, which produces the Vancouver Mural Festival.
